This is one of the major projects of the UPCD Centennial in its thrust to promote Oral Health Care for all Filipinos. This half-day event of UPCD, UPDAA and Oral-B from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on February 7, 2015 at the SM Mega Mall will coincide with National Dental Health Month.
The Mall Fair provides a perfect avenue for the program to reach out to kids and parents, and, as such, activities for all age groups will be held. These include a magic show, face painting, storytelling, and tooth brushing drills. A poster-making contest will also be held to encourage young people to stand up for oral health care. Volunteer dentists, who will also engage the parents and educate them on how to take care of their children's teeth, will provide topical fluoride varnish applications on-site.
If you would like to volunteer, contact Dr. Ian Ermita (mobile 63917-537-1867) or Dr. Carmela Pedroso (mobile 63917-512-8174).
